Q. I've registered to place an ad, but I haven't got the confirmation e-mail to finalize my registration.

A. This most likely means that you entered an incorrect e-mail address when you registered. Re-register, making sure to enter your e-mail address correctly.

All validation e-mails are sent out immediately following your registration attempt. If you don't get it within a few minutes of registering then most likely your e-mail provider has delivered it to a 'Junk Mail' type folder. Also, some e-mail providers don't allow an e-mail through unless we're on your 'approved' list, and some, like

If you've tried everything above, and it's still not rectified, try registering another available e-mail address that will allow our message to come through. If that's not an option, send us an e-mail to adsNOT@beaglesforsaleonline.com (remove the NOT from the e-mail address), from the e-mail account you're trying to register, and we'll do our best to manually register you.

Q. I've received the registration confirmation e-mail, but I can't click on the link to activate my registration..

A. If you can't click on the link to confirm you registration, simply hilight (left mouse click and drag over all of the address beginning with http://) the address, then 'Copy' it [press ctrl-c or right mouse click and select 'Copy'], then open up a browser window and 'Paste' [press ctrl-v or right mouse click and select 'Paste'] it in to the address bar. Then click 'Go' or press 'Enter' on your keyboard. This will serve the same purpose as clicking on a hyperlink.

Q. I want to post an ad with a photo. I tried to upload a picture but it says that I'm only allowed 90kb of photo size and my picture is over 300kb. How do I shrink it down so that I can use this photo?

A. Photos are restricted in size so that our website doesn't become slow for everyone to use. To get your photo to comply with our 90kb size restrictions try some of the following...

*Make sure your photo is 'saved as' a .jpg -- .JPG format will give you the best results for actual photographs. Many formats like .bmp, .gif and .png simply don't have the capability of producing photos of smaller file size with good quality.
*Currently, the system will not accept images over 90kb in size and with maximum dimensions of 500 pixels x 500 pixels. If your image exceeds this limit, you might consider optimizing the photo with one of the many tools available such as Microsoft® Paint, Adobe® Photoshop, or you can download a free program called Irfanview here -> http://www.irfanview.com/. Or, you might try a free online image manipulator here -> MyImager.com or http://www.imagespro.com/programs/146/

Q. I've tried to register for your site, but it says my e-mail address is currently already in use.

A. Apparently, someone has already registered for a user account using your e-mail address. To have the login password for the user account associated with your e-mail address e-mailed to you, simply enter your e-mail address in the 'Forgot your password?' box on the 'Login' page. Within a minute or two you're password will be sent to your e-mail address and you may log in and place or modify your ad(s).

Q. I can't figure out how to change me contact e-mail address. Where do I do that?

A. Send us an e-mail to adsNOT@beaglesforsaleonline.com (remove the NOT from the e-mail address) what you'd like to change it to and it will be done.
Note: you must e-mail the change request from the old e-mail address and reference the new e-mail address. If you no longer have access to the old e-mail address simply re-register the new address as a new account.

Q. I've lost my password. Can you please send it to me?

A. We can't send you your password, or change it for you. You can get your password e-mailed to you automatically using the Forgot Your Password feature on the member login page.
